Guest guest Posted May 11, 2008 Report Share Posted May 11, 2008 Joan: Funny you should talk about losing the sense of smell. I had also lost it for a while and was quite upset by it. So much so I went to a Specialist. Believe it or not he put back on prednisone and vitamin A (not quite sure why) and said I should respond to this in a week or so. In truth, it took the better part of a year. As much stock as we put in our doctors, they are just people, much like we are. And no, they don't know everything so my suggestion to you would be let your doctor know about the loss of scent, perhaps he/she could make a suggestion for you.
