Guest guest
Roman, Myostatin is not currently available for the consumer market. It is still in pre-clinical trials. Yes, White matter has shown up on MRIs in some CMT most research on this points it to CMT Type X, although I have found one piece that refers to CMT 1A. This research is not quite current, the most recent was in 2004 and dates back to 1999. While something like exercise has proven benefits in stimulating muscles from the " outside " as you say, (look in our Files for the Exercise folder), a couple of weeks ago we had discussions about something called " the Rebuilder " for stimulating nerves/muscles, and I cautioned about this. We all need to be very careful what is used, because something that has no base in evidence based medicine could pose harmful consequences to our CMT. You can search back two weeks or so for posts marked " rebuilder " or TES or the like. ~ Gretchen
