Guest guest
Hi , I live in central Minnesota and grew up in northern Minnesota. I have an extremely hard time tolerating the cold weather. It seems like no matter what type of glove or mitten I try, my hands get painfully cold unless it is at least 40 degrees outside. I have snowmobile boots that have thinsulate liners, they are actually warmer to me if I wear them without socks for some reason? I try to avoid being outside for any longer than it takes me to do chores, (I have horses and a steer I need to hay every morning) Don't get me wrong,I love taking care of my critters. I have to get my son on the school bus at 6:40 in the morning, so I check the temp outside, that determines whether we stand outside with a blanket or not! I hate to admit it but I don't play outside with my kids in the snow, I usually have them go outside with my hubby, or I'll watch out the window and have the dogs outside wth them. Some day in my lifetime I hope to move to a warmer part of the country, or just become a snowbird and vacation down south! What part of the country do you live, and how do you tolerate the cold?
