Kill the Fruit Flies

I don't like to see them around my jars of KT, even though I am pretty sure they

can't get in. A method that works for me is one that someone mentioned here a

while back. In case you missed it, put a drop or two of mild-scented liquid soap

or dish detergent in a small glass and fill it about half way with kombucha tea

or kombucha vinegar. Don't cover it. Place this near your brewing jar. When the

fruit flies fly onto the KT in the glass, the soap affects the surface tension

and they drown.
