Guest guest
Pat, it really sounds like we are living very similar lives right now and my heart goes out to you and all that have too few hours to fight this illness and still manage jobs, families and others things as well. It takes years of practice and then still after it always changes, even with remission. Today I feel like someone hit me in the back of the ribs with a baseball bat and cannot figure out why?? But you know there are sometimes those unexplainable times that we are just going to hurt for no apparent reasons. Just try and be good to yourself, and thank you for sharing that I'm not alone. Here's to better days ahead, PLEASE!!! :0) ----- Original Message ----- From: Milligal@... Dear , Staying in PJ's does sound like fun.... if it wasn't because you are feeling so rotten. I'm the caregiver for both of my parents. My sister comes down from Arlington to help out sometimes (like now, when Mom had knee surgery). But she's legally blind, so can't drive. Every day, I'm on the road taking them to doctor's appointments - usually a 4 - 5 hour trek... Stopping to eat, stopping at Home Depot for Dad, or Hobby Lobby for Mom... AND the grocery store (always)... They know that I'm ill, but don't realize the effort it takes, and we really don't have any other choice - other than putting them in a nursing home... None of us are ready for that. Recent Activity a.. 1New Members Visit Your Group Yahoo! Groups Having cancer is hard Finding help shouldn´t be. FruitaBü Parents on Yahoo!
