Guest guest
Hi everyone, I got up early this morning. I have a horrible cold and just couldn't lay there anymore. It was a long and restless night and I just figured I would ease out of bed and let my husband sleep in. Good plan right? So I quietly get into the bathroom. This is a little graphic, but you know the move that we all do....we get to the toilet, turn around and sit. Well, I have fallen in this position before, but this morning I wasn't even thinking. When I turned around, my right leg...the GOOD ONE (other knee has 5 surgeries) twisted in two different directions. The patella dislocated and I went to the floor in a lump. When I grabben the bottom part of my leg, the patella slid back in. On the way down I smacked one of my grab bars with the back of my and, boy, is it already purple! This Right knee has dislocated from time to time, but the left one had over 50 dislocations before I had a tibia tubercle osteotomy on it. I just had to whine a little, but it is really starting to hurt now. So Here I sit, hurting, stuffy and bruised. thanks for listening.
