But I did taste a brew made with just oolong (just an experiment) and the first taste was sour, not the usual tart. But a few days later, that taste had changed to more kombucha tart. So if I experienced what you are, based on this experience, I would give it a couple more days and then taste again. But even though it is fizzy and tastes sort of the same, it also tastes salty. Is there something wrong with the scoby? Should I throw it away? Thanks!
