Guest guest
Thanks for the information. I will try the iodine test. The first thing I did when I found out I had breast cancer was to throw out my "antipersperant" and buy all natural deodorant. I have always had my son only use deodorant (because antipersperant has aluminum in it), but finally went that way myself. I've also heard that milk of magnesia works well as a deodorant, but I really don't know what is in it. I am also throwing out all of my underwire bras. I heard that might cut off circulation too much. I was very small breasted when I was young (and also only weighed about 95 lbs -- how I miss those days!), and so wore push up bras all the time. Another ridiculous thing about that BRACAnalysis for the BRCA gene (it costs over $3,000) and one company owns the test and owns the right to the gene. That means that no other company can even work on their version of the test to try to create competition until that other company's patent ends. Now this is really where we need health care reform!!!!!!! No company should "own" a gene! On a really happy note, Ladies, with my reconstruction surgery, my breasts will be perkier than they have since my early twenties! Maybe even perkier!!!!! I'm so happy that at least I get something good out of this!!!! :-) (Just a joke since God has blessed me over a million times since January with wonderful friends, family, AND doctors, nurses, etc. and people I've just met whom I now call friend. I used to joke that autism made me popular. And now I might just get nominated for Home Coming Queen!!!) God bless!
