Hi Everyone!

I'll just take a sec to introduce myself...my name is and I

have a 10 yr old daughter with autism and 2 other daughters who are

12 and 8. I've been a member of this group for a few weeks and read

all of the posts, but never replied before. I sort of feel like I

know most of you through these posts! It's good to know that I'm

not alone with problems that I face. Currently we live in

Cincinnati, OH. My husband has been looking at jobs in a couple of

different places in the Sugarland/Katy/Houston area, but I want to

do my homework before I run off and make an even bigger mistake. My

family is very unsupportive, so I don't have many people that I can

really go to. To be honest with you, my husband and I have wanted

to move out of state for a long time now, but I've never wanted to

go because of family. Now, I could pack my bags and leave tomorrow

if I could. In my research, I've come to the realization that

nobody's happy anywhere! It's hard to find good, reliable

information about areas so I started up my own yahoo group for

people to share experiences from anywhere in the US so it will be

available to anyone interested in relocating. I hope that you all

will consider joining my group and sharing your personal experiences

regarding schools, therapists, doctors, etc. If I can get enough

people to contribute, I know this will be an awesome resource for

people all around the US.

The link to my group is:

mation/

If you don't want to join that group, I would still greatly

appreciate any input that anyone can give in regards to schools,

therapists, doctors, etc in those areas.

I would appreciate any information that any of you can contribute!

Thanks so much!
