Guest guest
Hi Gretchen (and everybody) Another question that may be linked to the modifications: I made a ERT (electroretinograph)recently and obtained results that are not very assuring. Once again: have you heard of CMT's with occular problems connected to white matter modifications but also: are there cases with abnormal retina and/or optic nerve without white matter being modified? Does anyone (among ) suffer from similar problems? Roman
Guest guest
Hi Roman, I am not familiar with the ERT you mentioned. Persons with CMT can have occular problems. Look at this site http://www.neuro.wustl.edu/neuromuscular/time/hmsn.html then find the Axonal column, look at HMSN + Optic Atrophy, also HMSN Type 6 (+ visual loss) also HMSN + optic neuropathy + deafness. In the demylenating column, look in the Recessive types for Juvenile Glaucoma and Cataracts. I'm sorry I can't answer your question fully, I do not know about specific " cases " and all relating to white matter. ~ Gretchen -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
