Guest guest
I took Allie Kat to the mall for some shopping. Out of all the time at the mall she never said anything to anyone, except for the cashiers. We passed lots of people, walked from one side to the other. As we were leaving, there was an older, adult female sitting separate but near some other people. I saw her and immediately wondered if she had autism but said nothing about it. She was slightly rocking, appeared to be mumbling to herself slightly and looking a little confused/agitated/deep in thought. As we walked past, and the lady was not any closer than any other people and in fact sort of far away, Allie said hi to her and waved hello to the lady. The lady did not respond and Allie said it and waved again. There was still no response but Allie looked perfectly pleased and we went on with out time. Just found it interesting. She must have recognized the same things I did. Debi
