Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not here.Debra Mazda A MESSAGE FROM DEBRA As many of us know once YOU get off track with either EXERCISE or EATING we can sometimes make it a spiraling effect and then it is hard to come back. I know this first-hand as that was how I lived for many years before I changed my way of thinking and living my life. That is an attitude of FAILURE and I truly believe that we can be so successful if we just get rid of this mind-set. Let me remind you that MOTIVATION is not a good gauge of how to get things done. No one, including myself, is MOTIVATED 24/7 but I MADE A COMMITMENT TO MYSELF YEARS AGO NEVER TO GIVE UP AND TO FIGHT FOR MY LIFE. Many of you have a history of giving up when the chips were down and no one was there to pick you up. Hugs, Debra ASK DEBRA Question: I am losing my motivation as my workouts are becoming boring. Help? , New Hope, PA Answer: Hi . Great question and there is a very simple solution to this. First, I want you to realize that MOTIVATION comes and goes but you need to keep your fitness regime up. Second, find a few different workouts to do weekly. By doing the same workout daily, you will not only get bored but your muscles will become stagnant. You want to use all of the muscles of the body to get toned and different workouts will ensure that will happen. I do at least 3-4 workouts weekly to keep myself in shape so I personally do not get bored. Stay focused and realize that your HEALTH and life depend on this. (Burlington, KY) WHAT SHOULD I EAT?Debra's Recipe Collection Lemon Chill Pie Ingredients: 1 container Cool Whip 2 8oz containers Lowfat Lemon Yogurt 1 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Zest 1 lowfat ready-made Graham Cracker Pie Shell Directions: Combine Cool Whip and yogurt and mix. Place in pie shell and sprinkle Lemon Zest on top. Freeze pie for 4 hours, followed by 2 hours in the fridge. Slice and enjoy to beat the heat! Makes 6 servings ENJOY!
