Was it hot where you live ? I heard it was over 100 in California! Jenp.s. good job on getting your workout in, don't over do it thoughSubject: 's Monday workoutTo: navarrosarah@...Date: Monday, September 27, 2010, 10:38 PM

Still not feeling great today. Made it thru work, but my head and chest are still congested. I put in a Firm DVD at first, one I got from SwapADVD.com, it was called burn & shape, but I got lost in the first 2 minutes of the warm up, I'm sure it was not the DVD, probably my foggy head, anyways I decided against this one and took it out. I ended up doing some more of the Huckabee's I just ordered. These seem to be great for easy days, I probably would have done a if I didn't have these. Anyways, I did disks 3 (Core-Body Balance) and 4 (Sculpt-Strong Pull) today for a total of 40 minutes. Kinda wimpy but it's all I had in me for today. I still have these Jari's here from Netflix, I want to do the Get Ripped again this week sometime and send it back. Have a great evening everyone.

Yay!  So did you like the ropes too?  Where did you get them from?

D

Well, I had gone ahead and caved and bought those JumpSnap ropeless jump ropes I had been wanting.  They arrived Saturday.  It comes with a DVD that has 4 workouts on it, beginners, intermediate, advanced and a stretching toning one.  I went ahead and did the intermediate one this morning along with the stretching toning portion.  It was quite a good little workout.  The intermediate jumprope portion was about 20 minutes long, my heart was really beating good.  The toning portion was actually quite good as well, I always have a little problem with those darn side planks, but oh well,  gives me something to work towards.  I really had fun with this workout.  I am glad I bought these JumpSnaps, although when my son put them together for me, he put all the weights in them so they do get kinda heavy towards the end, one seems heavier to me, the one with the weights, so I just kinds switch hands every now and then to balance it out.  I'm off to work now.  We used to get this day off as a holiday, but our Governor took it away from us, along with one of the Presidents days.  Have a great day everyone.

I'm glad you posted the link, , 'cause I could not picture what "ropeless ropes" would be like. Looks pretty neat too! I'll look forward to more of reports on these!

I have decided that I really need to work on my cardio endurance so today I put in Aerojump with Olajide. It is a jump rope workout. It has three sections, skills 1, 2 and 3, plus an abs workout. I put in skills 1 and didn't even make it thru the whole thing, I ended up only jumping (with my jump snap rope) about 15 minutes total but it was all I could do. I did not do the abs portion, but maybe next time. I am going to try and do this workout every other day until I can make it thru the skills 1 portion or until I get bored of it, we'll see what happens. I may still do some exercise bike tonite while I watch TV just to get a little more cardio in. I am off to work now, have a great day everyone.
