Hi Everyone,

Happily, my back is improving rapidly and by the end of the week I should be back to normal. No more spasms, just tightness in the usual places.

So - today I am all prepared for my "go to" workout for when my back flares up - a treadmill walk - and, guess what - my TM is on the fritz!! I think it is the computer that runs the thing b/c I can't get it to start and, when I tinker w/ it by turning it on/off pressing re-set, etc. I'm able to get it to go but it beeps at me constantly and it won't allow me to change speeds, incline, or turn it off. Will have to try tinkering with it some more - unfortunately though, I think it is "technical" (computer) rather than "mechanical" and may need to call the 800 # for service - which KILLS me b/c I just spent a large sum on some plumbing work and about $100 for a new dryer belt. Oh well, I would like to have a working TM for times like this and DH is going to want it for winter when he won't be able to walk outside as much.

Anyway, after wasting some time with this - I hopped on the exercise bike and did 25 minutes followed up with Peggy Cappy's Back Care Yoga - I just had time for the leg stretches and didn't get a chance to do the rest of the chapters. Hopefully tomorrow I can either get the TM to work, or maybe I"ll do a and follow up with Back Care Yoga - it is a boring DVD, but has good poses/stretches for a flared up back.

Over the weekend we walked on Saturday and on Sunday I walked a bit and played with DD at the park.

take care!Donna
