Dear Friends,Our family runs a small dairy in Middleton, TN that has fallen on hard times. We proudly produce delicious, wholesome raw milk and raw milk products. However, as you may know, raw milk has been the subject of scrutiny by federal and state regulatory agencies. We are in the process of working out some of the regulatory issues we've been facing but the battle has cost us, and as a result, the dairy is losing money and on the brink of shutting down with the auction of our farm soon to follow. We ask for your help during this difficult time. Please take a look at our website www.utterlyfresh.com to get an idea of who we are and how you can support us. The most helpful gesture at this point would be to buy our milk! We offer the following raw milk products:- Whole Milk- Skim Milk- Cream- Half and Half- Kefir- Buttermilk- Butter+ Free range EggsWe sell at two local Memphis farmer's markets:- The Memphis Farmers Market Front Street at C E Saturdays 7 AM to 1 PM - The Botanic Gardens Farmers Market Cherry Road at Park Wednesdays 2 PM to 6 PMWe also have a Wednesday morning milk route where we stop and distribute to customers at designated locations and times. Please check www.utterlyfresh.com "Places and Prices" for more detail.Another tremendous help would be to express your interest in either HOME DELIVERY or participating in a MILK ROUTE where by we stop and distribute at a location and time that is convenient for you. You can email jan@... or join our mailing list and express your interest through the website. We will also soon be selling "Don't make me Bootleg my Milk" Evergreen Farm T-shirts through the website. Thank you very much for your support,Jan and Walt HaybertEvergreen Farm10435 Highway 125 SouthMiddleton, TN 38052PLEASE FEEL FREE TO FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO FRIENDS/FAMILY WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED. That sounds awesome! I often envisioned living in a community in this manner!! > > The local food revolutions happening all over the world are scarring > the daylights out of the elite controllers. Many small communities > have formed quasi-underground organic cooperatives, where one > neighbor may provide eggs, another vegetables or salsa, another > homemade pasta, and another makes blankets and so on. There are many > great resources on how to start and support a local co-op, but the > concept is very easy... > > http://tinyurl.com/27gnoyh >
