Thanks, Eliza and all who responded to my recent post. Today after church Luke

was ready for the whole family to begin a massive search for the light saber.

We had to leave for an afternoon outing and I told Luke that he needed to

prepare himself for other options if the light saber couldn't be found, or to

leave the toys here altogether. I have two good things to pass on to you in

this email:

1. Luke responded to my ultimatum without freaking out. In fact he was in the

basement looking for an old light saber to use as a make shift, when....

2. My husband FOUND the green light saber in the green grass, and life is good

again, for now!

Again, we still seem to be having some issues with not wanting to eat because he

isn't hungry. However, both times today that Luke acted like he was going " down

hill " , we fed him and things did improve.

Thanks for everything, you guys.

Warmly,

in Missouri (Luke's mom)

Hi - I have a Star Wars obsessed son too. After the Star Wars

Episode I movie came out, we had a lot of the toys complete with light sabers

that eventually got lost. I don't know if your toys are the same size as ours,

but we found that wooden skewers used for shish kabobs (sp?) worked great as a

replacement. They are very cheap at the grocer. Eliza in WI
