Guest guest
Thank goodness this workout is only 35 minutes long because I woke up with a mess in the kitchen! I programmed the coffee maker to go on at 4:00am, which it did, but I hadn't shoved the caraffe under it very well so there were grounds and coffee all over the [white] kitchen counter. I uttered a few expletive deletives, but all was well, as I got my workout in! I love how this workout uses the slow and heavy method with just 12 reps, YET I am sweating like crazy! You'd think I'd just gotten out of a cardio class or something! Here are the exercises and what I used: sumo squat w/a hip lift - one 35lb kettlbell, I need to go up next time to 40 lbslunge with posterior flys - 12 lb dumbell, probably should go lighter next time to achieve better formpushups with leg lift - did all 12 on toes dead lift with posterior fly - 8 lb dumbellslunge with core rotation - one 20 lb kettlebell, I need to go up to 25 lbs next timebench press and leg lower (using theraband) two 25 lb kettlebells, this was challenging squat with side bend - two 25 lb kettlebells (+ EXTREME)forward lean lunge with double arm posterior flys - two 5 lb dumbells (+EXTREME)chest flys with hip lift - two 15 lb dumbells (+EXTREME, three 8 counts down 8 counts up pushups, which I did on my toes) Since tomorrow is a " rest " day on CLX I will do Hip Hop Hustle #8 for some cardio. There are 3 blocks of hustle in this one, no show (yeeesss!) so it will be 45 minutes long and then I will do some stretching afterward, probably Slim & Limber from the Slim in 6 series.
