Persistent Boils(?) in armpits

Hi all,

Has anyone got any ideas on what to do for boils (at least I think that

is what they are!!). They come up as lumps but remain under the skin

and go quite red and look sore. They don't appear to have pus. Norman

keeps getting them just as we clear one, within a week or two he

develops another one or a couple at the same time. It's not always

the same armpit.

I'd actually thought that using bicarb in the armpits would make it

difficult for bacteria to flourish.

Any advice please.
