Guest guest
i have been on a ripping on jillian craze lately. not really fair since she makes awesome workouts, but me and the bells, well if you haven't figured that out by now you may never will LOL. i don't normally do many reviews, especially if i have done the workout before, but i thought i would try the positive today. i picked level 1 just b/c! since i couldn't fast forward all the advertisements and intros i just started doing some warm ups on my own. a little extra wouldn't hurt. i do like some of the exercises she uses in her warm ups though especially hips and knees circles. this is best for joint mobility and use them for warm ups on my run. she throws in some jacks too which i think is a little much for a warm up but i didn't go as hard and kept its slower. i like the 3-2-1 approach here. you do a strength move then you do a combination move(upper/lower). the combination move will def. help the heart rate b/c you are really work the legs but also holding the body balance with the core to pull off the upper body moves. she does the strength for 30 sec and the combination for 1 1/2 min. then repeats to make a full 3 min. cardio similar 30 sec each for two exercises and repeat. all basic calisthenics stuff;ropes, jacks, butt kicks, punches. the one is for one minute of abs 30 sec 2 exercises(or oblique 30 sec. each side). i am not crazy about going from cardio to the floor but i find my heartrate recovers quicker with jillian then it did for cathe's cardio core circuit. this is a very solid workout for a short one. i am happy as long as back/chest/shoulders/legs get worked. i am off to shower and shave these legs(TMI? LOL) KASSIALDY_SOLANA'S WEBPAGEwife, mother, student, kettlebelle
