with all due respect Margret,

1. why is kombucha kamp's web links being mentioned again here in this forum as

it is a commercial site that is for profit after the moderator has specifically

addressed this? i have yet to hear back from

the person running this site on brewing methods that were posed to them as well.

" no call- no show "

2. glucose and dextrose are not the same thing, period. it really disturbs me to

know misleading info

is being promoted on a commercial web site and that this same site is being used

as a reference too?

3. there are misspelled words on this precise page in this link also: Aspartame

is written otherwise...

4. categorically, there so many things to raise issue with written on this

page....sugar is ubiquitously

being used~ in terms of its precise literal and scientific meanings that can

confuse anyone that is not

self-researched in these areas of chemistry, microbiology, etc. it takes

intellectual advantage of many

5. when we just say sugar, in the sense of feeding a scoby- we are not really

indicating what we are using as if we were explaining it to a child or adult for

the first time. it is carbohydrates that parents

all sugars in composition{fiber, starch, sugars} as there is no isolated

anything in nature|...relations

exist that are not even being mentioned let alone examined with critical

thinking, experimentation & applied awareness. granulated isolate sugars{of any

molecular form} are drugs by the definitions of those that synthesized them in

the laboratories originally. there is no debate on this, why any denial?

6. THE VERY FACT THAT IT IS EVEN AN " ISSUE " INDICATES THAT SOMETHING JUST IS NOT

RIGHT~ WITH IT ON AN INTUITION LEVEL AND IMMEDIATELY CALLS IT INTO QUESTION|IN

MORE SCRUTINY

IF IT WAS SO NATURAL, USEFUL, SELF-EVIDENT, ... THEN WE WOULD NOT NEED TO

CONTEMPLATE!

7. why was this at the end of the note? [creation.com " As a former fetus I am

opposed to abortion. " ]

as if we do not have enough controversial exchange, why are ideological

references being dropped??

keeping on kombucha seems to be a challenge it and of itself, pro/anti lifestyle

choices is too much-

personal research clarifies answers,

i am just being honest and real too

hate me, condemn me if you see fit

please just include some evidences

revolutionary brewing,

~Rezz

Subject: Re: raisin the sweetness?

Really recommend the below read - enlightened me on several sugar aspects.

Ever since the posts about using raisins = fructose as food for the

Kombucha culture I have been mulling the sugar question around in my mind.

http://www.kombuchakamp.com/2011/02/sugar-and-kombucha-faq-top-10.html

I've come to the conclusion that sucrose would be the best option for

Kombucha brewing. The culture itself does the work of splitting the sucrose

into fructose and dextrose (glucose).

Also, the suggestion about lessening the sugar a little to stimulate the

brew is excellent.

Just to keep it on the straight and narrow, eh! ;-)

Margret:-) on a sunny English morning
