I'll go to bed early tomorrow and hope to repeat my Les Mills rotation next week.  I'm hooked for the moment, and don't see an end in site to this rotation.  I was hoping to run tomorrow for a few miles in the Portland Marathon to support my friend Sam who is running her first marathon but they are saying no one without a bib # will be allowed to run :/  I wanted to be like on the Biggest Loser where a prior season's winner jumps out of the bushes to surprise and run with a new contestant on their journey.  Boo. It's raining here more or less nonstop today so I hope the weather will be better tomorrow mostly because I fear that wet socks could cause bad blisters?  Anyway, it's better than running in 95 degree weather, at least, and the temperature is certainly pleasant..

Tomorrow I MUST do back care yoga!!!  I keep putting it off but lower back is talking to me, time for some TLC and stretching.  Hope everyone's having a great weekend!

Great week, ! Sorry to hear about the marathon tomorrow, that would have been really great to surprise your friend like that. If running is anything like walking, and I'm pretty sure it is, yes, wet socks will definitely cause blisters. The only time I got a blister during the Breast Cancer 3-Day was the day it rained (torrential downpour, flash flooding, they pulled us off the course for a few hours). Tried as I did, I could not keep my feet dry and sure enough, developed a blister.

I hope you get your yoga in tomorrow!

I had extra socks and it didn't help because my shoes got soaked. I even tried wrapping plastic bags around my shoes, then around my feet and sticking them in my shoes and that made it difficult to walk. Sorry! I don't think I know about the blister bandaids though. I think I did put moleskin on the hot spots but even that didn't help because it didn't stick well enough.

That's so great that you've found something you're enjoying so much, it is a great feeling. Go !

Re: week in review

Thanks and Vennitta! I'm very happy with my week! I have officially become obsessed with les Mills and see no end to this rotation in the near future. Kind of like you with the Firms :) I really connect with all of their formats!Oh dear.. okay now I'm really worried for my friend! I hope she brings extra pairs of socks with her and that she has the wick kind. There are some really good blister bandaids out there, also worth taking along. Hugs
