Hi: As a Board member of CathARTx (501 c3) I am inviting youth to participate in a 6 session photography workshop with Director Matt . Participants will be provided with a digital camera for use during sessions. Workshop will explore seeing, framing, re framing, perspective, preparing an artist's statment, how and what do others see. Looking both inside and outside of self, creating an awareness of the connection of the two states. Group discussion. Hard copy print of each individual's best shot at close of wkshop.

Open to high school students with a dx of Asperger syndrome.

6 sessions /Saturday mornings Start date 7/18 poss 7/25

Location close to Menil gallery / Shepherd in Houston

Need 4-5 youth with Asperger syndrome

4-5 typical

No fee.

This pilot project will be used to refine an Intervention for youth with an ASD.

Parents welcome to meet during wkshop session as a small coffee group with board members for discussion of project and their thoughts.
