Hi-

P90 Masters Sweat 5/6 was up again today. My critique remains the same - I wish there was an extra circuit or two - the three circuits we do just aren't enough for me!!! The three circuits we do are/ challenging, but I need more. So, I added on from the new(er) 10 Min Solution Rapid Results Fat Burner, which I think may be the only all-cardio 10 Min Solution out there. I did the first segment which was sports drills and I really liked it. It was a drill-like (so no emphasis on choreography) routine that included lots of jumps, hops, kicks, etc. It fit the bill as an add-on. I will probably be adding more of this on to my Sweat 5/6 days.

I hadn't seen this instructor before, but she was pretty decent. She looks really young, though, or maybe I'm just gettin' old! :)

Afterwards I did 2 segments from 10 Min Solution Pilates for Beginners (an impulse purchase at the grocery store - since it is breast cancer awareness month my local grocery store has many DVDs on sale with $1 from the proceeds being donated to breast cancer research. I believe the exerise connection is the exercise has been shown to reduce breast cancer risk). Anyway, Lara Hudson leads this one (she leads most of the 10 Min Solution Pilates routines - and she is a good instructor). While this one is billed as being for beginners, I think all levels can get something out of it . Oftentimes, I like the beginner routines b/c the pace is slower, so more time to focus on good form. I did the abs and the legs sections. What was nice, is it had some different exercises from the other 10 Min Solution DVDs I already have.

I really wanted to add on the stretch, but was running out of time so I stretched on my own.

Tomorrow is Sculpt 5/6 again - I am going to do the leg exercises twice through, though for more of a challenge for the lower body and I plan to add yoga on for lower body also.

Oh - speaking of yoga, the yoga I did in the afternoon must have done some good, I actually had a decent night's sleep last night!

Take care-

Donna
