" All victims had consumed raw milk or been in households where someone else

consumed raw milk and became ill. Symptoms started Aug. 14 through Aug. 20. "

Watch out for that raw milk. You don't even have to drink it to get sick.

I just read this here

http://www.datcp.state.wi.us/press_release/result.jsp?prid=2351

" The onset of illness was Aug. 14-20. All victims had consumed raw milk or been

in households where someone else consumed raw milk and became ill. Campylobacter

can be passed between people as well as being contracted directly from

contaminated food. "

Who knows what the truth is. We've been lied to so much by those in control I

don't trust anything they say, especially concerning the witch hunt for raw

milk. I remember the nurse from Hayward, WI telling me that with the supposed

outbreak up there several years ago, the people were asked when they got to the

hospital if they had consumed raw milk. If they had they were questioned. If

not, they got some antibiotics and were sent home. Most had not, but you can

still read today about the outbreak caused by raw milk.

Any chance any other avenues were checked such as chicken or restaurants,

or.... Nothing but raw milk was pursued in Hayward because the state needed an

outbreak for publicity as they were trying to shut down the farm. Interesting

that once again, the state is threatening farmers and we have an " outbreak " .

I was watching the news this a.m. when Channel 4 ( www.todaystmj4.com )out of

Milwaukee ran 2 pieces in a row. 1st - 13 people sickened by campylobacter. They

never mentioned raw milk as the source, yet the very next piece, 4 Your Health,

was concerning raw milk & its safety, highlighting a farm in New Holstein which

was originally shown on June 17, 2008, more than a year ago, yet they made it

appear as if it was a new item. Here is the text from that:

I find all this very interesting that it would come up just as I have heard from

my farmer that there have been several farms which have received cease and

desist orders in Wisconsin recently.

I don't usually post, but wanted to reply to this concern. I live in SE

Wisconsin and I have it third hand that the farmer involved had the milk tested

by an independent lab and the milk tested negative. It seems someone jumped the

gun in blaming the raw milk for the problem. (No surprise there!) The state

did send someone to also test the milk, but this person did not even bring the

right equipment required for testing apparently, which would make any test

result questionable. I do not know what the results of that test were.
