Guest guest
JCarre1,,Nice to have you here with us. I haven't been on much lately been sick, mainly with the heat and humidity. My name is Pat ,they also call me Ww for Worry Wart lol. I am 61 and am starting week 21 this Wed. Hang in there, I started feeling bad around week 4 and then was ok after week 12. It did lower my hemoglobin down so they put me on procrit. I don't like the stuff I have problems with it so they did stop it for awhile until my next lab next month. Showed clear at 12 weeks and go next month for 24 week viral load. I hope it stays clear, I am 61 and have geno-type 1-b. You always need to check with doctor when another prescribes meds for you. Mine only lets me have 4 extra strength tylenol a day. I usually don't need them. Are you drinking enough water? That helps with side effects also ,it is important to drink a gallon aday at least. Mine has me do half my body weight so I am supposed to do 67 ounces a day. It was hard at first but it is a habit now. Take care...hugs...pat PS do you also take the pills or just the shot? I take 5 ribavarin per day and shot once a week.
