My autism journey isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning

to dance in the rain....

I have a random question.

Can you request records from a school district on where the employee no longer

works to get information on their past experience and training records?

Thanks,

,

Even though a school employee's records don't follow them, if they are

fairly young and have a teaching certification that has to be renewed (they

used to all be lifetime, but now they require renewal), one must show proof

of a certain number of Continuing Education Units in order to be

recertified. Therefore, I would think that SBEC would have a record of any

training attached to CEU's. That way you could avoid the personnel files

altogether, and I would think CEU's for a state certification would be a

matter of public record.
