Guest guest
I went ahead & sent a subscription notice to the kids's group for 's benefit. I promise I won't contribute any remarks of my own - just read some of the messages to and then post anything that has to say or ask in return. We see Dr. Small on Friday, so I'll ask him about this, too. Jay, thanks for the response about anyway, but you couldn't have known that has had other bathroom issues for a year now - even at home. Rob, I'd be very interested in knowing who you end up selecting in the DC area and how things progress, since I live in the DC area (Herndon, VA), too. We see Dr. Arnold Small, Ph.D., 1800 Town Center Drive, Suite 411, Reston, VA 20190, . He has a very good reputation at my children's school, I understand. He is a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology and on the AMerican Board of Professional Psychology. Joni! I just read your post and I'm amazed (and concerned) about 's behavior. I think I'd be hiding the knives, too, if I were in your position. I'm so sorry to hear the medicine for his mood disorder is causing an allergic reaction and causing you to have to remove him from it. I hope the doctor can find something to replace it fast! Poor ! Poor you! -Jean ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today! Poor > ! Poor you! > -Jean Thanks When it happened last summer, I didn't say much to this list about it because I didn't want anyone to panic or become anxious. However, it WAS a very traumatic experience for me AND . And, I should re- emphasise that it was a completely IMPULSIVE act on his part. He felt EXTREMELY remorseful afterwards. In fact, he was so remorseful, it was hard to tell who was the victim!!! LOL I remember feeling angry-- like hey--- my leg is bleeding and I can't walk and YOU are falling apart???? Hello??? What about me?? Anyway, it was all due to the fact that ONE kid told him over the summer that CHLORINE would make him sick if he swallowed it. After that, he refused to go to the pool. He became almost house-bound over the summer and wouldn't go outside. I asked him one time too many if he wanted to go to the pool, and someone had just finished peeling an orange and a knife was right there next to him. I doubt that it would have happened if the knife was farther away. He hasn't thrown another thing at me since. However, over the Xmas break, he DID get too angry and went straight for my antique nativity scene and threw one of the pieces on the floor. It shattered into a million pieces. I was so mad. I MADE that nativity scene in a ceramics class 25 years ago!!! The pieces cannot be replaced. Sooo... we're still working on the anger and needs to get back into therapy (he hasn't been since Thanksgiving). The Risperdal and Luvox combo was working GREAT, then Risperdal started putting the pounds on him, we took him OFF it 12/15, and the problems came flooding back. Now that Seroquil has been discontinued too (due to developing a rash)... I'm holding my breath.
