Guest guest
Hi Anita, I know it is a sign of detoxing but school were abit dumbfounded, he would do a big wee on the loo, go back into class and just pee all over the floor, it really was scary and constant, when we were collecting wee for some test, had those big bottles, he filled both up in one day and it was a 24 hr collection. But I need to read up on ALA with DMSA and just re read everything and look at it all again, thanks Di x Subject: Re: Chelation Update - long & wittery :)To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe Date: Tuesday, 7 December, 2010, 18:22 Thanks so much to everyone who has posted their updates. It is such a pleasure reading them :-) Congratulations to everyone for being so persistent and hardworking and full of hope. About the peeing, Di, it's pretty normal for chelation. I have a family member (NT) right now living with me, trying to recover his health. He is chelating and the peeing can be at crazy kinds of levels. Up three times a night, etc. Anita> > > > Subject: Re: Chelation Update - long & wittery > To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe > Date: Tuesday, 7 December, 2010, 11:04> > >  > > > > > Thanks Di, did you ever try the TD DMPS? Guest guest
I have read adults saying that changes happened and the theory is that our kids may act this way as they get used to the 'new' way of hearing and I guess if something has been one way for a long time and it changes it would be unsettling. Moria who used to be on A-M a lot a few years back, NT adult also had issues with eyes, she had no idea she only saw in 2D and had adjustment issues when vision became 3D with chelation (she only used ALA), stairs were scarey for her for a while. Its a difficult thing to imagine for me, not sure brain is capable of that, I can;t even imagine what 2D really is, thinking about TV/film etc does not help me.......... Mandi x Jane,How long did the sound sensitivity last?We got them about 3 months ago and it is slightly better, but still very much there. When he first got them we couldn't go out, he could not handle any outdoor noise at all. We are now at the stage where the tv still has to be low, cannot handle girls screams, his brother shouting etcKirstyx> >> >> > > > Subject: Re: Chelation Update - long & > > wittery > > To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe > > Date: Tuesday, 7 December, 2010, 11:04> >> > Thanks Di, did you ever try the TD DMPS? Guest guest
>>>This is wonderful, the little ones see the gains quicker I think, loosing the allergies and gut getting better gives me the shivers, its so huge and just makes daily life so much less of a strain for and for the family. I've spoken to DAN docs at conferences in the USA who look at me as if I am mad when I tell them about gains seen at these low doses, microscopic in their eyes, its all about EFFICIENCY of the protocol which reminds me again to make powerpoint about the fish tank analogy, MM is sooo busy its hard to do anything else right now Keep up the great work and have some time off over Christmas and enjoy your little man! Mx is 4 1/2 and we have done 21 rounds ALA/DMSA and 4 DMPS...were at 8mg of both right now, just upped the dose..We have had fabulous progress, I really thought that my son was a non responder as we got improvement but no real wows with biomed, with chelation we have had loads and most importantly finally he is healthy, no more allergies, diarrohea......I'm almost fanatical, have not missed many weekends and when i do, i used DMPS.....he's young and I have to make the most of every opportunity to get him better.....Yeast has been tough, but he's a happy yeast monster, so i've never had cause to miss rounds for that, he doesn't tolerate some of the big yeast killers (GSE, OoO), KIB500 and boatloads of probiotis have worked great here.Other good things we have done this year are LDN (marvellous stuff) and TLP....So all in all 2010 has been a great year for and I guess for me too, i'm emerging from my 2 year depression, have gained a few grey hairs and some wrinkles but I feel more positive about the future......when he's good, i'm good!!!!!!!My hopes for 2011 are speech, were seeing good progress. He treats us to a few bits and bobs, you know, just to send my hopes sky high and then nothing for days....but our highlights are 'shit' and 'get real', totally appropriately timed!!God bless him, he is my star man!!!x>> >>Ha ha indeed, Stephs Tom is good at coming out with this sort of stuff > as I recall, looking forward to having the same problem myself > > Mx> > > In a message dated 07/12/2010 12:43:21 GMT Standard Time, MaddiganV@... > writes:> > Desire to listen improves when he knows what you are saying, > I think he knows.> As for we do have a very clear f***er!!!!! Guest guest
Yes I did at the weekend, he got past wanting to eat it but did still want to put his toes in, air temp was warmer so I let him and he seemed to get over it then. He did find his favourite Postman Pat vid on Youtube and cracks up laughing at it, slapstick sense of humour! Mx Such good news!!! I so recall your postings on A-M as things were beginning. Are you going to update there? Please think about it!! When my daughter's sensory began to kick in, she would come w bewildered look and point out a tiny scratch. Up until then she could have been run over by a truck and barely noticed. So let Sam delight in the snow and all the other tastes and textures he has never known! Guest guest
- we are just starting TLP - Can I ask what your son's language level was like prior to starting and how far into the CDs you started to see results. Did you use bone conduction headphones and have you gone on to do CDs above Level 1? Also could i ask what you experienced behaviour wise when you did the sensory CDs 3 & 4 (Level 1). Thanks for any info - To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe Sent: Thu, 9 December, 2010 13:03:50Subject: Re: Chelation Update - long & wittery Its The Listening Programme........we were so fortunate that ' school do this with all the ASD kids....
