Hi,

My son also refused to use the bathroom at school. From middle school on he

would " hold it " til he got home. In 7th grade they took a class trip to

another town to do a ropes course. He didn't want to go, but I pushed him

into it thinking it would be a good experience for him. They left at 6:00 am

and didn't return until about 9:30 p.m. Through the entire day, bus ride,

everything, he did NOT go to the bathroom. He went all day without eating,

drinking, or bathrooming. He made it, but he was in tears by the time he

got home. It was heartbreaking to realize what he had put himself through

that day, but he handled it.
