Guest guest
Thankfully! Your wine tour while cycling reminds me of when I was teaching scrapbooking classes years ago (I had a Creative Memories business for 7 years). A woman was hosting a get together for me and asked if it was okay for her to serve wine or beer with the other snacks. My comment back was, " That's fine with me but keep in mind, you will be working with sharp tools! " She went ahead with it and everyone was, thankfully, very safe! :-) I'm glad you're feeling better and getting back on your bike! Starting STS week 2 tomorrow Hi all, I am loving this! I had migraines, so I had three rest days in a row. but started back up yesterday. It's so funny how I always forget how I feel after a Cathe Leg day (yesterday). It has been a long time since I've felt that particular kind of after effect. I fueled well -- good nutrients, proper timing -- so at least I wasn't in that super hungry mode, but I had that all-over, tingling, post-weights fatigue. It's good fatigue! I'm doing a little bit of cycling today for my commute. Finally getting back on the bike. I'd have waited longer, but I got a " Where U at? " from my bike club, so I think I've had enough recovery time from the 100k I did (65 miles). I'm going to sign up for this 50k on payday: http://www.active.com/cycling/acampo-ca/giro-dvino-bicycle-wine-tour-12th-annual-2010 I can't imagine actual wine tasting on an endurance ride, unless it's of the taste-and-spit variety, but I'll be riding with my club, so that'll be fun. I hope I can keep up. I'm detrained right now. Peace out!
