i'd be worried about using a product with grapefruit seed extract in it

on a daily basis. gse has been touted as a fabulous natural preservative

when in fact a study in germany, and a subsequent confirming study in

the u.s., have shown that out of six samples of commercially available

gse, five contained synthetic preservatives, some including parabens.

the one sample that did not contain a synthetic preservative turned out

to be ineffective as a preservative itself. so much for the

" naturalness " of gse. an abstract of the study can be found at:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve & db=pubmed & dopt=Abstra\

ct & list_uids=10399191

unfortunately, gse isn't the magic natural preservative we all wish it

was...

Maybe that is enough since
