Hi Faith,

Just my opinion, but with all the strange symptoms and stuff that we have, I

would want a board certified rheumy. I have seen several in my life. The best

ones were a student at Duke who was being graded and had to present everything

he found to the Rheumatology board, and the one I see now who has a PhD in

Rheumatology. The one I see now seems to know so much more and has new info and

ideas for me. Plus he generally seems to understand and to care.

Faith honey, I think you need someone that's board certified. I'm not

sure what exactly it means other than the doctor taking his " training "

a bit further than regular medical school stuff. I wouldn't go to

anyone that isn't board certified.

Don't be upset over something you didn't know. Now you do and now you

can do something about it. It might, however, answer why you're not

getting the treatment you deserve and need.

Take care and be well.

Ellen
