Guest guest
Finally! A slight drop in weight to 162.8! I told I'd be at 159 by August 14th or I'd send her $25. I've been in a deficit everyday except for one. However, I think I have a bit of undiagnosed hypothyroidism (TH4 levels test fine, but symptomatic and the average GP doesn't run the full test). I just started adding in a homeopathic adrenal glandualer, thyroid and iodine to see if I can get a bit of relief. I also know for a fact that stress is causing some major cortisol issues. The second things slowed down a bit the scale started to move. I should ride the train a little further and keep on pushing on - but my father #2 has been ill-ish (long story). He is a very proud Jewish man whom you would have to chain down to keep from working. He is peddling his wares at an antique fair at a town about an hour and a half from here this weekend. Terry and I are using it as an excuse to take our first ever in years weekend away together to destress, detox and help out/check on Dad v.2. In honor of this unwind time I am having my first wine in two weeks. I'll be back on the wagon come Tuesday when I'm back - but it feels so good to be a little bad. I even had some pizza and chicken strips for dinner. I rarely eat meat these days. I'm being a rebel!! No workout tonight as I haven't slept the last few nights. I walked into the wall of my cube today and fell asleep in the restroom. BUT I have had some GREAT workouts this week despite having to modify for my neck. Most nights I go for a burn of 700 calories and I meet it. I've done Gilad, Powerstrike, Turbo Fire, my own random stuff on the step etc. I miss being able to do weights and impact punching - but it will come. The physiotherapist at my Chiro's office said I had the most inflexible/tense upper body she has ever seen and she has other Fibro patients. Its a big old red flag that I need more yoga in my life. I do enjoy the treatments though - very much like getting a massage three times a week. A girl could get used to that. There will be calories this weekend on our jaunt - but there will also be mega walking in the Texas heat. Let's hope I don't do too much damage and maybe do some good coritsol wise. ;-) a
