Hi,

Can anyone recommend a " kid-friendly " hotel in or around Salt Lake

City? We will be traveling there in Nov. (too cold to do much

outside) so I'd like to find a hotel that has a pool, waterpark, or

other activities for kids. Let me know if anyone has any

recommendations.

Thanks!

Hi

We always stay at the Crystal Inn (www.crystalinns.com )

- They have an indoor pool, complimentary hot breakfast buffet,

shuttle to/from the airport (they have 'shuttled us up to Shriners

too before!!). It's also very close to Mcs which can be useful

with small kids!

They also have a hospital rate.....

There's some websites that list kids activties in SLC, and the zoo is

good......

We Stayed at Crystal Inn once, OK as Jacki mentioned, The Plaza Best Western,

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!, Grand America once, OK, and the rest at the Sheraton. You have

to call their reservations desk directly to receive the hospital rate. Book

early though, they fill up fast. You will need a letter from Shriner's stating

you do have an appt to get the hospital rate. They do have a pool, there are

tons of activities for kiddos at the hospital if you don't want to go anywhere.

The Sheraton is very close to the Olympic Plaza Shopping Center with a few

things for kids to do, and shopping for you. (There is an outstanding

Build-A-Bear there.) If you need it, when making your reservations, make sure

you request a crib at that time. They had pretty good room service too and are

located across teh street from a Mcs. They have an airport shuttle, but I

never asked for them to take us anywhere else. The hotel is located down town

in City Centre.
