Guest guest
Well… I’m not close to you, but I will be milking about 80 this coming season.I use -11.5 pressure, 50/50 ratio, and about 155 pulsation rate… although I’ve toyed with uping that to closer to 180.I used to use 60/40 pulsators and rate was slightly lower, but have learned that anything less than 150 for sheep is not good. You can contact me if you think I can help. I have successfully established the pulsation parameters for milking goats with my milking system that was originally designed for milking cows and would like to now do the same for sheep. If anyone on this group has a herd of sheep and is interested please contact me. The duration of time would be at least a couple of weeks, a few months is preferred. I am most interested in sheep that are currently being milked with a conventioal milking machine to be able to compare the difference in teat condition, animal behavior and milking time. I am located in upstate New York in the Binghamton area. Regards, Bill GehmPartner, LR Gehm LLCCoPulsation Milking System
