Guest guest
Hey what is going on w/ this list?! This is the quietest it has been since I've joined. I hope it's not going downhill. Come on folks, let's do a Tae-Bo dance or something!! Has anyone thought of new year's resolutions or anything? How about a 21 DC, maybe we should each challenge to make one post a day....lol... Darcy who hasn't been very motivated to workout lately either.... :-<
Guest guest
----- Original Message ----- From: " Moeser " > Jenni, it seems something is going on for *a lot* of us. I have only been working out for about three days aweek, and only Basics and 8-minutes (except for AL6 yesterday). I don't know why I am not motivated to workout much anymore, especially since I feel better than ever. Jenni and , I am sending you my motivation for a few weeks, LOL. I hope you both have super workouts in the next few weeks. Even if you don't feel motivated, just do it anyway. Elena
Guest guest
I'm still here, just lurking. Things are busy this time of year, like they are for everyone, I would guess. I am sick and haven't tae-bod in a while. I did have a bright moment today though....I went to the dr. (I'm not as tolerant of being sick as I used to be) and she noticed my weight! According to their records, I've lost 14 lbs. since I saw her in June! She was very impressed. Joan Time to post Lurkers!! Hey what is going on w/ this list?! Guest guest
Ho humm...not much to post exercise wise. Wish there was. I've been walking 6 miles 4 times a week and adding in 20 minutes of light cardio here and there and try to d0 an hour of weights once or twice a week. Was horsing around the other day and fell on my back pretty hard..its only moderatly stiff as is my neck, but enough so that I am skiiping a weight training session and sticking soley with walking for a few days. Need new shoes though. My feet are all blistered up. Life is still very crazy. has been cruising the personal ads and going out dancing and seems to be doing ok. The initial hurt/shock phase is over and he relizes we made the right decision and is happy about how the new situation has opened some new doors for him career and life wise. Plus he's happy that he'll save money when we are divorced (I tend to leave the lights on and use a lot of hot water lol) I still have strong strong feelings for the young actor. Trying not to be too emotionally involved as he is dating someone else besides me but prefers me. (I think the situation has him freaked out as well) Everybody things I am big nut. LOL. In the midst of finals right now, when thats over I'll be hitting the job market pretty hard in Wilmington. I have the major holiday blues as I don't have any family or close friends here. My actor, Terry, will be taking me to see Lord of The Rings on Christmas Day. Thats my big plan. I'm still reading as much as I can. I seriously have had some major blahs and emotional crisis and haven't had much energy to respond to posts. I'll try to be better!!! Maybe we need a get together sometime early next year to get us motivated??? How about everyone come to Wilmington? LOL. I know would love that. a

Guest guest
Hey! Ramble on Jenni! These are the best posts Darcy who had a great workout this morning to AL8.... > Hey GuysI'm still reading too! Sorry I haven't been posting much either. I have no excuse. I can certainly find a few minutes to post an email or two. Nothing much is going on. I'm getting ready to move... AGAIN. Seems just like yesterday that I went through this. *sigh* Moving is my least favorite thing to do! I have been working out pretty regularly, actually MUCH more than I have been in a LONG time. Feels pretty good but I'm noticing that it no longer energizes me. I remember a few others saying that. I don't know what's going on. Probably the weather... being that we are having some unbelieveably warm weather, that's after having a major snowstorm just a week ago. It's been so warm lately that all of the snow is almost gone in my area. YAY! I have also been eating remotely well, I kinda give myself a lot of room without guilt, at least I can say that I am eating within my own personal allowance. I miss this list a lot, weird how I won't just be a little more involved, sometimes I just don't have an > ything to say, believe it or not. Anyway, Darcy, don't EVER encourage me to start rambling on and on... it could get very ugly. HA! Have a great day, guys!! > > Jenni
Guest guest
I've read the messages from approximately the last 24 hours... Glad to see that activity it is picking up. I'm still really busy... trying to finish my darn term paper! It's due for Sunday, so after that basically, I'm done... until end of January where I start my last class. Hope to be a full fledged MBA by March 2002. I've noticed that many of you are in a motivation rut, as I am. I was thinking that there are many factors involved. First, there have been no new taebo tapes in a LOOOOONG time. I think that you need some spark in your workout to keep motivated. Second, I think that there is the post-911 depression... kinda post-traumatic stress or something similar. Third, related to the last reason... the economic situation is creating stress for many people that may be afraid of losing their jobs. Fourth... pre-xmas blues. I think Darcy is right that we have to collectively kick ourselves in the butt! We have to start off the new year with gusto! Stay active... in whatever way is possible. If it's only 3 times a week, well that's better than 90% of the north american population! I vow to remain active 3 times a week (minimum) until xmas! How about you?? Come on guys... let's all start a challenge! Janick who's pumped cuz she just came back from the gym!

Guest guest
Elena, Thanks for the encouragement. I managed to do the GR 8-min yesterday. I felt a lot better afterwards. Now I just have to get downstairs and pop in a tape so I don't make some sort of excuse not to. Well I'm off to push play... Bev > > Way to go, Bev! Definitely go for the 8-min. tape > today. I guess that can be my brag for the week...ahhhh, no, perhaps I should save that brag for next week IF I actually make it through both workouts...lol. Let's see, I'm not good with bragging. The only thing I can come up with is that I've worked out every day this week (I'm in 'training' for QVC). Oh yeah, I'm doing a photoshoot tomorrow night with photographer friend of mine who's trying to add more to his portfolio...I'm so excited, I get to 'play' supermodel for the evening. I'll post some pics next week because he said he'll give me some proofs. Have a great weekend everyone. Guest guest
Gosh Amybeth, I'm sorry I missed this - I didn't realize that you had gone through that on September 11. What an awful, awful thing!!!!!! I know that a person should just concentrate on the part that he WASN'T on the plane but it would be hard to forget about that fear that had to have hit you!!!!! I hope the medication can help you let go of that so you can concentrate on the good. We are living through anxiety stuff with my son who just turned 8 - it's been an eye opener. It's sad though that it has to hit these young kids - they are suppose to be living life as a child - that is one thing that I wish would come back from the good old days! Kids are having to grow up so fast these days and it's really not fair to them. In fact, most of them have seen and done things that it took me 21 years to even know about. (((((HUGS)))) to you. le > > > ((()))) > > Thanks so much for your ever thoughtful words my family says they > are noticing a change...I feel a little more calm....man I did Impact > today and it totally rocked my soul.....of course always > does...but today it was the old rockin'!! > > Peace to all... > > AmyBeth-who is going to Raliegh someday to spend the day with > and be Southern Gals for the afternoon > > BTW did I mention that the Tarheels are going to the Peach Bowl > hehehehheh we just won't go to Basketball posting this year (I > promise)!!!!!
