Guest guest Posted September 1, 2010 Report Share Posted September 1, 2010 Hi Everyone, Today was PowerFit Chest, Triceps and Butt and PowerFit Back, Biceps and Thighs. Good workouts all around. is quite creative w/ the use of the band. I upped the intensity by wearing my weighted gloves,using my heavy band, and doubling up on the bands when I could for the exercise. These are good for where I am right now - coming back to working out after vacation and easing into a new work/school schedule. I also admit that band work has really grown on me - I like not having to take a bunch of weights out and I like the change up from doing workouts w/ weights. My add on today was Sara Ivanhoe's 20 Min Yoga Makeover for abs. Good yoga-inspired core work - so planks, variations on boat pose, "bird dog", etc. Doing this one reminded me of the good old days when Ross stocked bunches of exercise DVDs for low prices. I collected the whole 20 min series through Ross. Ahh...memories! I may add on some more of these 20 MinYoga routines on - they were pretty good as I recall. And, I do like Sara as an instructor, down to earth, friendly, etc. Tomorrow is cardio - not sure what I will do, though. Oh - I decided to tweak the PowerFit rotation a bit more by adding in one circuit workout per week, so my routine will be something like this PowerFIT Strength Cardio PowerFIT Strength Cardio Some sort of non-traditional routine - Pilates/Yoga/Ellen Barrett, etc. Circuit Workout - Take care, Donna Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
