Guest guest
Hi all It's been while for me, but I'm taking a much-needed quick break, as finals are this week (will be done on Wednesday 9/14, my birthday--YAY!!), and I'm so FRIED from " information overload " that I had to mentally get away for a minute. Anyay, here's the thing: because of the air conditionig being on in the house from a really warm summer, I had to put my fermenting KT jar on the back porch in shaded area just to be warm enough to do its thing. But the whole time it's been out there, my top SCOBY has not been smooth like every other one I've always had. The top of it (I still have 3 others underneath)is bumpy, like it has blisters--big ones, each about 1/2 - 3/4 inch across. (They look like boils on human flesh--eeyew!) The KT tastes just fine, but the top SCOBY is grossing me out. Any thoughts?? --XSAC (Xondra)
