Thanks for the suggestions Cari and Elena!!

I need to do something to spice it up!

I have not lost a lb or inch in the last week.

It's only disspointing b/c I was losing 2-3 per week :(

But...I got a little off the " diet wagon " , so it was totally

expected, right! Good thing is I can get right back on.

Wow, I already feel better just writing that!!

I don't know if I mentioned , but I travel 2-3 days a week.

Any road warriors out there?

I will be unable to do TB or any workout on Thur. and Fri due to a

very hectic travel schedule so I am going to do all of advanced today

and maybe the basic too.

Does anyone else find it hard to take 2 days off in a row???

I get sore!

Travel makes it hard to do a 21DC, and I was really hard on myself

when I couldn't make it. I even looked into buying a DVD drive for my

laptop but it was $400!!!

So I have created my own little 90DC.

It consists of TB at least 5 times per week (if I am on the road I

substitute 1hr on the hotel treadmill at medium to high intensity),

Weights 4 times per week (I split my program in half and alternate

giving muscle groups 48 hrs to rest) , and Pilates 2 times per week

(for a good stretch and core strengthening). I started last week and

have been able to keep it up so far!

(PS the weight program I have been doing is working out great.

If anyone is interested, I have it all ready in a workout sheet.

It's a combination of 2-3 programs I put together for max. results)

Thanks again for the suggestions guys!

Have an excellent Week.

I have attempted the 21 DC in the past, and I never finished one

single one! I don't travel per se, but I do commute between 1.5 to 2

hours a day, and my job is very demanding (hence the stress relief of

coming here!). So, for me, it's really hard to stick with a 21 day

commitment. The basis of the 21 DC is to form a habit, but I

consider it as a crash course! You can form a habit of regular

exercise without committing to doing it 21 days in a row.

I think that in order for exercise to become a lifelong habit, you

have to commit to a minimum of 3-4 days a week of exercise. If you

can do more than that, well that's even better! Don't put the

pressure on yourself of doing 21 days in a row... I find that for

some people (like myself), it can be a demotivation factor.

Good luck on your 90 DC! I think it's a great idea!!!

Actually, for me, the first time I started a diet, was after I had my

first child. She was about five months old, and I was about 167,

which my prepregnancy weight was around 144. I lost about 20 lbs in a

month. At that point all I had to do was about 15 minutes of aerobics

about 3-4 times a week. I still ate fast food! Of course i was about

18 years old then. lol to be able to go back to those days!!

Since then I've probably been on about 5 or 6 diet/exercise programs

that have lasted for more than two weeks. The second major time I

tried to lose weight, I also lost a lot at first, one point I lost 7

pounds overnight. Each time since then it is harder for me to lose

weight in the beginning. Although with tae-bo, I can say this;

normally I can gain like 10 lbs overnight with my time of month. When

I started doing taebo I actually lost 2 lbs during that time of

month. Not much, but better than gaining! Does anyone else have

problems with weight loss getting harder each time you begin to

diet/excercize?

but good luck !!Keep us posted!!!

That is so true. even though the scale showed a slower loss with my

tae-bo workouts, I've noticed a difference in my clothes in as little

as a week. Don't give up!
