Guest guest
I finally have time to do an intro, so here goes...I live in MN, I'm a RN that works inpatient psychiatry. I love to garden and have one for vegetables and one with roses (I dig deep, no tipping here and so far, it's worked)I was drinking raw milk and had a wonderful supplier/farmer that I was getting it from. I also have a lot of GI issues and later was tested to be intolerant of casein, amongst other things, so I stopped the cow's milk, which helped.I went into withdrawal, if that's possible. Raw cow's milk is so wonderfully tasting...I truly missed it and all the wonderful extras I made with it. I started reading a lot about the chemical structure of cow's milk compared to goat's and discovered goat's milk has a different type of protein structure and the fat is smaller.I made the leap and bought some at the coop and did a test run on my GI. I made my own yogurt with it and had no problems. It does have a different flavor than cow's milk.I also wanted to join this group because I firmly believe in our food rights to grow, sell and peddle our wares and goods. I care about the quality of food I grow and eat for myself and try to educate others about nutrient content in the foods they eat as well.I also have a very strong, growing interest in herbalism. I look forward to being a part of this group!Kristi
