Guest guest
Hi Katrina! I am way down in Alamogordo, but I am willing to ship a scoby up to you. The last time I shipped one it leaked all over and the PO in ABQ put it into haz-mat quarantine and I told them to toss it out. I double ziploc'd it and sent it in the smallest priority box, too. I have decided that I will ziploc my next one and put it all into a pint jelly jar and use the appropriate sized box. If anyone has a better method of shipping a scoby PLEASE post the details. Let me know, Deb > ** > > > Hi everyone! > > I am new to the group. Guest guest
I would zip each bag and then fold over and tape with a good box sealing tape. Then be sure to cushion it in the box with lots of newspaper or styrofoam peanuts. Your jar idea will also be effective, but it will cost more to ship a heavy jar. ________________________________ If anyone has a better method of shipping a scoby PLEASE post the details. Guest guest
Deb, I always triple ziplocked mine and never had a problem. The first two do seem to leak a bit, but the third one kept it all contained. zoe > Hi Katrina! > > I am way down in Alamogordo, but I am willing to ship a scoby up to you. > > The last time I shipped one it leaked all over and the PO in ABQ put it into > haz-mat quarantine and I told them to toss it out.
