Guest guest
Patty, I cant wait to start on this after my pregnancy thanks for the info! Love julie Flor Essence I wanted to share this info with the whole group, as one of our members wrote privately to ask some questions. This is a supplement some of you may want to look into...Flor Essence, or Essiac tea. I have used this product before...probably only one bottle of it, as it is a little pricey, and I wish I would have kept up with it. I probably found some other "thing" to use, as I have tried many.As with almost all natural remedies, the results usually take several weeks (6 weeks at least) to see results. This is the huge difference between drugs and the natural herbal counterparts. Drugs are immediate. Herbs take time. However, the difference in safety is huge as well.I have a box of this Flor Essence ready to use for a detox program...I've only been waiting for the right time after the holidays and all the travelling we have done to begin, and since it has been brought up, perhaps it is time for me to get moving on it!This product has decades of history with it and has amazing testimonies to go with it. I have shared before on the group about a close friend of mine whose father had cancer...he was cured using this herbal combo...TRUE STORY! In fact, they went to Canada, got the recipe for these herbs, then had to search the US for the wildcrafted herbs and make their own brew. You can see the whole history of this herbal combination here:http://www.netrition.com/flor_essence_page.htmlThere's also a book:http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0963981803/002-9394774-3756019In any case, the reason I am writing is to suggest for some of you a remedy that may help with your fatigue, your lack of energy, may greatly boost your detoxification efforts, and bring about healing at a faster pace. Check into it and make a decision for yourself.I will be using it as soon as I make up my pot of tea...after that I will probably buy the liquid herbs, for convenience. When it comes to life long health, I am completely devoted to natural means of attaining balance, and will do everything in my power to avoid the American curse of having to survive on bottles, bottles and more bottles of drugs. I am so excited to have my life back, and I will never take it for granted again!Hugs,Patty
Guest guest
Hi , It's nice to see you posting! How is your pregnancy going??? I hope all is well! Are you still working? Guest guest
are you pregnant? Now you have to fill me in. You are explanted right? Forgive my memory, I think the silicone is giving me a bad case of amnesia! It is horrible. I love babies. If I had been in a better relationship I probably would have had more than two, but then again with the implants, it is best I only had one more child. My daughter is my pride and joy. She helps me so much and is my pillar of stregnth. I think girls are so helpful to us, especially when we are down. My daughter not only gets straight A's in school, but she helps me with my son who is a handful. He is doing better now with his adderall, but still has bouts that, were it not for my daughter I wouldn't be able to handle at this time. What are you having do you know yet ? Do you have other children? Congratulations on your pregnancy, may it be a healthy and happy one. Guest guest
Thank you Annie and Patty for asking, gals! I am in my 4th month, 16 weeks, so realy going into my 5th, and feel wonderful .They couldnt tell what sex the baby was on ultrasound, but I will have another one, in a month to get some closer looks at the baby's thyroid , no need to worry, everything looks good and healthy for now! Annie ,I have a 4 year old son, Tyler. I am a sister to two sisters- all girls, so I was a little shocked when I had him! I never had a brother, and didnt know what to do with him. But he is the cutest, sweetest little thing, heart of gold and he loves his mama! Very good natured and calm. I know I lucked out with this one. Annie ,look at his pic on our site, you'll see! Truthfully? I am hoping for a girl, but will say the old stand by with meaning after being ill- as long as it is healthy, I will be estastic! Its been 2 years and 4 months since explant, thank God. I feel wonderful to have them out, and a new baby in. I have been really busy though, we just found out Tyler, whom I had while implanted has celiac disease a severe gluten intolerance, so we are seeing a nutritionist and a specialist. He is completly normal looking and seems quite healthy, except for eczema and some moodiness, and potty training issues(Now I know why) although he has been complaining of belly aches for some time. Thats why I had him tested. But Im ok, he's ok-as long as we remove the food, he gets better and lives a normal life.God only gives what we can handle, so I am sure I will be able to. Its just so much easier to follow as an adult, as I have been, but man, its so much harder with a kid! I feel bad , the blame is creeping back.... So I have been praying. His tests for immnue reactions to his tissues from gluten were quite high. Did Implants trigger this? I think so. Who knows. All I know is his immune system is almost 3 times as reactive and sensitive to gluten that I am. So what does that tell you? Anyway, other than that, i have been doing wonderful. Baby too. I love youguys! Love julie >From: "annie200548" <annie200548@...> >Reply- > >Subject: Re: Flor Essence >Date: Fri, 28 Jan 2005 15:22:31 -0000 > > > > are you pregnant? Now you have to fill me in. Guest guest
julie Don't blame yourself for tyler's gluten intolerance. You really don't have any way of knowing if the implants were involved. It could have happened anyway. Besides, if you had even an inkling that implants could affect you or your children you would have never gotten them. There are just so many things in life that are risks and if you didn't have implants tyler would still be exposed to so many things you have no control over. Even now it continues to amaze me how almost everything that has to do with medicine is contradicted by an alternate stance with both sides claiming studies and evidence to back up their side. It sure makes it hard to know what to do. In addition, we are just exposed to so many things we have no control over: pollutants in the air, water, ground, offices and housing and schools and our vehicles, public transportation, etc. The possibilities to be affected by some toxin somewhere are endless. And lets not forget the genetically engineered, pesticide ladened, chemical additive foods that are thrust on us at an ever increasing rate. Most people don't realize that almost all spices are irradiated, that almost all soy is genetically modified (soybean oil is used in everything) and Monsanto is pushing genetcially modified wheat and corn. People aren't aware of the dangers of aspartame and splenda and no one seems to care about the xenoestrogens that women are taking in daily in the form of cosmetics, shampoos, sunscreens, pesticides, and household cleaners. These xenoestrogens are contributing to the everincreasing rates of cancer and ailments. We would drive ourselves absolutely insane if we thought of the extent of all of it. and yet, our liver does an amazing job of filtering out all this crap. This is why we so desperately need to insure our livers, skin, colon and skin are in optimum working order to detoxify. I am firmly convinced this is where our effort should be concentrated after explant. You are proof of how doing these things helps you get better. Perhaps these same things (on a childsized scale) will be able to bring tyler's reactivity more under control. It isn't set in stone that at some point he couldn't become less reactive to gluten. I am just so glad you found out so that you could prevent so many problems from developing. I am so glad your pregnancy is going well. Make sure to let us know the sex of the baby when you find out! Guest guest
Kathy, thank you for your kind message.I realy appreciate it. I am not too bad on myself, just those thoughts, popping up, like "I did this" Also, to meet criteria for celiac disease, you have to have these 3 steps: 1)gentic factors 2) an allergy to gluten 3)an environemntal trigger to offset the genetic abnormality, such as infection, toxins, stress, surgery. I am sure the implants were just that. You are right though. It may have been a matter of time, before his genetic makeup made him so ill with celiac anyway. Better to start young and get used to this way of life. Not much good to eat grains these days anyways. I do however, have him on the daily fiber colon cleanse, probiotic, and a realy good multi. I figure as long as he is given the clean pathways, the liver will dispose of it and it will comes out via the kidneys, skin and colon. We'll see how much better he feels. I just get so mad sometimes. I realy do. I always try and push that anger into something positive and try to just be more forward and more aggressive with eating better, doing better thnigs, working out. I do the "Get MAd ALDA! " And will stay focused on making this a positve thing and coming out a winner. Perhaps Tyler will be all the better and miss all the risks he would have dealt with. I dont know. But I thank you ! KAthy, you are always a great firend. Guest guest
- your welcome! I love your fighting spirit! I also am glad that I know people who understand celiac and gluten intolerance. You have done a great job of informing us all. I get so mad that everyone I know thinks I should just cheat and eat what I want. Even my mom acts like that and makes me feel like I am a hypochrondiac or something when I refuse to eat something I can't have. Tyler is sure lucky to have a mom who cares enough to take such good care of him. I know you will do everything in your power to make him healthy and think of all you know! You are sure to help him be the best he can be! Hugs kathy -- In , " JOSEPH PALANCA " <juliejp61@m...> wrote: >
Guest guest
I agree with Kathy, we can't blame ourselves, my son has ADD and ADHD and has to be medicated. I am sure the diet is a hassle but, probably better than having to medicate your little one. I had no idea implants caused illness, let alone that it could be passed on to my child. Just do the best you can and take very good care of yourself. I did read a bit about the gluten condition and wonder if I could have it or if it is a genetic thing? Does anyone else in your family have it? If not than it probably is one more horrible thing that implants do to us.
