Guest guest
Greetings All: I have had a " burned " spot on the roof of my mouth (left side one area) since Tuesday night. Painful, and I thought it would go away / heal in a day or two. Last night it was so painful in kept me awake and would wake me up. I could feel extra heat coming from that little area. Would C.S. help? Oil of clove? Ozone water? I have rinsed with HP and it was an irritant. Aloe Vera made no difference. ANY ideas of what it could be or to help speed the healing would be great. It is painful all of the time. Visual it just looks like a little discoloration, a deeper red in that one hot spot. Thanks again!

Guest guest
<< , One more thing. Have you tried sucking on an ice cube? >> thanks for all of the ideas. The ice cube brings a little numbness from the pain. The others I hope will work in time. This low grade, throbbing pain is no fun at all. Will update as soon as results happen. All Blessings and Many thanks,

It soothes mucous membranes. 2) Try gargling with mixture of 1/2 water and 1/2 raw apple cider vinegar. It soothes mucous membranes, and you can also drink it. 3) You may want to use a LED 660 nanometer light, also sometimes called a " soft laser, " on the tissue. It can help it to heal. 4) Colloidal silver may help if there's an infection. 5) Clove oil may help; it may also irritate it. I might try other essential oils such as Tea Tree but especially Lavender, which is great for burns! Make sure to get food or therapeutic grade. A good essential oils supplier -- it's a member-owned co-op -- is http://www.essentialoilpool.com/products.html They also have lots of information. 6) You could also try an emollient like Slippery Elm Bark. You can buy the powdered bark, make a mucilagenous mixture in warm water, and then hold it in your mouth. Good luck. Guest guest
Golden seal tea is shockingly healing. It tastes wretched tho, so it is only for the brave. Smile. But it will get the job done remarkably fast. You can open a cap and put the powder on your tongue and press it against it, or you can make tea and hold in in the mouth awhile before swallowing and keep repeating. The powder is probably easier, as it will stay there along time. Guest guest
We have a product called Cepacaine in Australia manufactured by n Merrell Dow that will do the job as it has both a local anaesthetic & antibacterial components. Rinse with undiluted solution for 10-15 seconds & repeat every 2-3 hours as necessary. Regards Noel Please request a 'Read Receipt' to ensure that I receive your Email.
