Guest guest
Food, Inc is also running in Richmond so you Richmond folks step up to the plate also! It is at the Movieland at Boulevard Square link is www.bowtiecinemas.com/movieland-blvdsq.html and I encourage Richmond folks to do the same. You want to see the movie----hand out flyers to others! Come One Come All!!! The Fifth Annual Farm Food Voices Virginia will be August 2, from 2-7:30 pm, featuring a showing of the movie FRESH, exciting speakers, scrumptilicious food, and lots of fellowship. Go to www.VICFA.org to learn more and register. Food, Inc. will be playing at the Visulite in Staunton July 24 (today) through July 30 www.visulitecinemas.com/visulite_staunton.asp It will be playing today through July 30 at 4pm, 7:20 pm, and 9:15 pm and on Sunday a 2:00 show has been added. We NEED to have flyers for Farm Food Voices handed out at this film showing. Optimally, you would show up for the 7:20 showing and hand out flyers to people coming out, and wait around to give flyers to the 9:15 people coming in. I have EXCELLENT flyers, or you could save gas and time by printing out the attached flyers to hand out (front and back, they fit 2 to a sheet and you cut them in half) This film will leave people wondering what to do and where to go. Our event will help answer those questions. I NEED 7 committed people to agree to see this movie on differing dates this coming week and hand out flyers for FFV. I have 1 committed, so need 6 more----folks, step up to the plate! Great publicity on FFV AND help people to connect. Please email or call ASAP www.MajestyFarm.com Men ... should do their actual living and working in communities ... small enough to permit of genuine self-government and the assumption of personal responsibilities, federated into larger units in such a way that the temptation to abuse great power should not arise. The larger (structurally) a democracy grows, the less becomes the rule of the people and the smaller is the say of individuals and localised groups in dealing with their own destinies. Moreover, love and affection, are essentially personal relationships. Consequently, it is only in small groups that Charity, in the ine sense of the word, can manifest itself. Needless to say, the smallness of the group, in no way guarantees the emergence of Charity. In a large undifferentiated group, the possibility does not even exist, for the simple reason that most of its members cannot, in the nature of things, have personal relations with one another.
