2 days after halloween, all over the UK, boxes of cut price pumkins are sitting

in shops, forlornly waiting to be used. To save money and to get the rich

nutrients from pumpkin, it is quite possible to use carving pumkins (jack o

lantern type) for eating/baking, etc.

I made pumpkin pie with mine and i bought a few more to cut up and put in the

freezer for pumpkin muffins, etc.

pumpkin from carving pumpkins taste kind of bland, so spice up with cinnamon,

cloves, allspice, etc.

see here for a good pumpkin muffin recipe - price of pumpkins in my local tesco

were 50pence for a very large one (which sold for 3.00 prior to halloween.
