W e must stop it. This bill is aserious impingement on the freedoms of small farmers and consumers. Thisbill will: 1.) Mandate NAIS--which is a total power grab by the govt andwill put many small farmers out of business 2.) Allow industrializationsof all farms--do we need more industrial food? 3.) Give the federalgovernment arbitrary power to force any practices they choose on anyfarm--self-explanat ory 4.) Allow the federal government to outlaw rawmilk--my family and many others I know drink raw milk for health and welove it! It should not be in the hands of the feds to outlaw thiswonderful healthy product! This bill will not create the food safety itclaims (it's actually called The Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009). Itwill make the our food supply less safe by eliminating small farms andcentralizing production and processing more than it is already. Please Iam respectfully requesting that you vote against this bill.Sincerely, Green Green sent this message via Congress.org, which uses the Capwiz·XCsystem. Guest guest
Hi All, This morning I called my Congressman, Girffith, in DC. His secretary said he has not said how he was going to vote. It was nice, but clearly expressed that we as farmers strongly oppose this bill and that it would place undue burdon on farmers and put many farmers out of business. The lady was very nice. Enjoy your dairy before the government makes it illegal or impossible. Jeff Price NW Alabama
