Guest guest
You're fine Jen.... Keep up the great work. I hope you start feeling better and the weight still decreases! What about smoothies? You could pack a lot of nutrition in one of those???? D Darcy, sorry for being " bitchy " unfortunately it's another side effect of prednisone. I'm happy but I'm not sure if it's healthy. I feel like I'm not eating enough or I'm not getting enough nutrition. The medicine KILLED my appetite so I'm forcing myself to eat a little bit of food every 2 hours. My weight had been on a downward trend before I started prednisone. I was concerned that I would gain a lot of weight while on it because it's known to increase appetite. Lucky for me, I did the opposite. This is what my weights have been last few weeks:July 4 212.8 July 11 214.2 After I started prednisone:July 18 211 July 25 205.6!I'm happy but I would be happier if I knew this would be permanent. If it is then I've made my first weight goal of 209! If you're eating much less, then maybe eating too much was slowing you down before? I know you thought you weren't eating enough before, but now that you've cut back on your consumption you've seen a huge drop w/ your weight? I KNOW that my problem is eating too much, and not too little.....
