Have you still got Celia's details? She's been there, High Court, everywhere there is to go................

Mid-way in Tribunal it looks like mediation is round the corner. I am nervous and would like to talk to anyone who has experience of this.Thank you, Margaret

Hi Margaret

Are you using the services of Speaking Up, soon to become Voiceability?  a free advocacy service for disabled people.. Its HQ is in Cambridge and we have just started working with them to support us in our complaint and journey to seek damages from our School.

The advocate appointed to help has been amazingly helpful. and we see so much merit in using her as she has really good knowledge of both the schools and the inner workings of our LEA and CC.

Best Wishes

Tracey

sorry to tell you but mediation was a pile of rubbish for us in

Plymouth. We may as well have been talking to two sets of people from

the LEA - and very blatantly so.

However, it does look like it varies from place to place.

good luck with it,
