Guest guest
Now that the horn flies are back, I am wondering what knds of fly control methods other producers use on lactating cows. Does anyone have any experience with the " walk through " type of fly trap? I have read that they can cut the fly population in about half. We have a small tunnelling type of dung beetle on our place. They are supposed to help reduce the number of flies reproduced in the cow piles, but we still have enough flies to aggrivate our cows a lot.
