Could high aluminum possibly be from deodorants or antiperspirants?

Hi Gail,

I have done 4 liver cleanses in the last 4 months, and in fact I have just

started another today, which will be my 5th. And yes, I've been taking

Quadra-Zyme Plus digestive enzymes. Have been making an effort to

do pretty much everything that I can think of. That's why I was so surprised

by the results.

I have heard that mercury (which doesn't show up on hair, blood, or urine

tests unless the exposure was recent) and other toxic metals can interfere

with mineral absorption. Starting to wonder if that is my probem. The test

also showed that I had high levels of aluminum, so I have to figure out how

to get that out also.

Hi Dave,

I am so not an expert, and I don't mean to sound like a broken record....but

have you cleaned up the liver? Do you take digestive enzymes? Seems like

we often need some help in digesting our foods. And I'm sure you've read my

feelings before on the liver cleanses. :))

Hi Laurie,

Never used antiperspirants. I switched from a roll-on deodorant to

a mineral salt deodorant about a month ago. Don't drink sodas or

anything else from aluminum cans. Use glass cookware. I have no

idea where the heck it's coming/came from ....

Also, I wonder about how accurate hair analysis is anyway. I would think it

would greatly vary depending on what hair products you used. I think some would

alter the mineral content. Just guessing tho.

Hi Donna,

I've been using Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap on my hair, no conditioner

(don't seem to need conditioner with the soap even though southern California

water is very hard). Then a couple of times a week I use Young Livings

essential oil shampoo. You raise an interesting question. I wonder how

accurate hair analysis is also??
